This piece was a client submitted design. We worked with them to devise the spinning feature. A main concern was making sure the bookcase would stay in place while spinning. We opted to use hardware that already existed, galvanized fence post supports. The heavy duty metal fittings were powder coated, and worked perfectly. Anchored to the floor, and ceiling joists the bookcase spins easily.
